Israel is at war with Hamas which is also a proxy for Iran. The leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran has made his opinion of Israel clear, saying it is a “cancer [that] will be uprooted at the hands of the Palestinian people… god willing.” Tehran's stated goal is the destruction of Israel. But it hasn't always been this way.
